Once we send you out
on an assignment with one of our clients, you become an MBA Personnel employee. Our
standards for referring applicants to our clients are high. That is one of the main
reasons our clients continually utilize our service for their temporary staffing needs.
Please always remember, you are our representative and your professionalism will reflect
not only on yourself, but also on our service.
WHILE ON ASSIGNMENT
Always be
professional, courteous and dress in a professional and business-like manner. Arrive on
time and conform to companys lunch hours and breaks. Limit personal phone calls to
your lunch hour and breaks. Be as flexible and proactive as possible; often a temporary
employee is requested for a backlog of work or a special project. If you find you have
extra time, ask your supervisor for additional work and/or projects. Your willingness and
enthusiasm to get the job done will be greatly appreciated and may get you requested for a
longer assignment and/or asked back in the future.
If your job description should change, be sure and notify us as soon as possible so that
we can make any necessary pay rate adjustments. Also notify us if the length of your
assignment changes (shorter or longer).
YOUR AVAILABILITIES
Call us towards the
end of each week to let us know if you are available for the following week to work and
leave a phone, pager, cellular and/or alternate number where you can best be reached.
Employees who call in regularly get first priority.
ON OVERTIME
Please contact us if
you have received authorization to work overtime. Whenever possible we need to confer with
the client in advance regarding overtime.
TIME SHEET AND PAY DAY
Use a separate time
sheet for each week assignment worked. Time sheets must be signed by you and the
clients authorized supervisor. The original signed timesheet goes to MBA
Personnel staffing. You should make copies of the signed timesheet for the client and for
you to keep for your records.
If you need a blank
timesheet, click here and the timesheet will appear on your
screen. Then click print on your web browser (usually Netscape or Internet Explorer)
to print the time sheet. You can use the "Back" button to return here, or
click return at the bottom of the time sheet.
Our pay period is Sunday through Saturday. Your current week's hours must be received by
12:00 pm the following Monday. Call, fax or drop off your time sheets sometime between the
end of the day on Friday and Monday at 10:00 AM. Our office hours are 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM,
phone 391-3578 (24 hr. voice mail) and fax 391-3740. Payday is the following Tuesday. i.e.
If you turn your time sheet in on Monday your paycheck will be ready on Tuesday for the
previous week worked. Original timesheets may be turned in when you pick up your check on
Tuesday. Please keep in mind the importance of the 10:00 AM Monday deadline. We use a
payroll service to process your checks and if we do not have your hours on time, we can
not issue a paycheck until the following week.
EMERGENCIES AND/OR PROBLEMS
If you are unable to report to work or will be late, telephone MBA Personnel directly at
(415) 391-3578; and we will advise the client. Our regular office hours are 8:00 AM to
5:30 PM Monday - Friday. If you call our office before or after regular office hours,
please leave a detailed message in the URGENT temporary division mailbox, we will then be
immediately notified of your call and will take appropriate action.
