worldwide. Position will be responsible for collecting
delinquent accounts and conducting credit investigations in
compliance with department standards and objectives. This
position will have significant interaction with clients, office
manager/administrator and shareholder of the firm. Here are
just some of the duties:
1. Collection of past due
accounts. Determines reason for delinquencies and taking the
necessary actions to prevent future efforts. A minimum of
twenty (20) contacts required per day. 2. Follow-up and
monitoring of accounts. Prompt follow-up in order to ensure
payment plans, promises and deadlines are kept. This duty
requires follow-up of all accounts until brought to a
conclusion. Enters and maintain proper coding of accounts in
the Elite billing/collection system for accurate financial
reporting, file maintenance and file placement. 4.
Determines and recommends accounts to be assigned to outside
collection attorneys, agencies, and filing of bankruptcies.
Responsible for preparing files, gathering all credit history
information, working with attorneys in order to obtain case file
information.
Requires a minimum of 5+ yeas of
collections experience in either a law firm or professional
