[ Interview Tips ]

MBA sends candidates on interviews every day. Unfortunately, the right person for the job doesn’t always get the job. Many applicants are hired not just because of their skills, but because they can connect well with people and sell themselves to the interviewer. These people are said to "interview well". MBA knows how to interview well, and we can teach you!!

MBA offers interview practice/preparation to all our employees and candidates. Knowing both the interviewer and the interviewee produces the best results, but we have listed some general guidelines below.

  • Always arrive on time and completely prepared for an interview.
  • Make sure you are dressed appropriately. A business suit is almost always OK; it is better to be dressed too conservatively rather than not conservatively enough.
  • Give the interviewer a firm handshake and friendly smile at the beginning and end of the interview.
  • Bring extra copies of your resume and references to the interview.
  • Maintain good eye contact.
  • Don’t fidget. Take deep calming breaths if you have this problem.
  • Be confident, concise and approachable.
  • Mail a thank you note after the interview, never fax or email this note.

When finished with an interview that MBA has arranged for you always be sure to contact your MBA recruiter as soon as possible. We are waiting for your feedback.

HAPPY INTERVIEWING!!
